Fold It, Clip It In, Watch It Actually Go

Every kid has set a paper boat on the water and watched it drift in a circle and sink. PaperBoat changes what happens after the fold. The power module clips into the hull he folded himself, twin propellers spin up at the stern, and the two-stick remote puts him in charge. Push the left stick and it goes. Push the right and it turns. Same sheet of paper as always. This time it answers to him.
Every RC Boat Is Finished the First Time It Tips. Here, the Paper Takes the Water.

Most RC boats die on day one because the expensive part is the part that goes under: a cracked hull, a flooded shell, a spare-parts order that never arrives. PaperBoat is built the other way around. The hull is a sheet of paper, so the paper gets soggy while the module, the propellers and the remote are the parts you keep. Lift the module out, dry it off, fold a fresh hull in about a minute, clip it back in and he's sailing again. Honest limit: it's still a paper boat. Sail it on calm water — bathtub, pool, quiet pond — because wind and waves will always beat paper.
Hand Him the Remote and Step Back

The 'screen-free' toys that need a phone end the same way: he's staring at a screen again, and you're the one fixing the Bluetooth. PaperBoat comes with its own two-stick 2.4GHz controller, one stick for power and one for steering, laid out the way his hands already know from every game controller. No app to download, no phone to hand over. The next hull is whatever paper is already in your printer. Rated for ages 6 and up, and there's a good chance you'll want a turn.
WHO IT'S FOR
Four people, one kit
Screen-tired parents, bath-time parents, gift-hunting grandparents and RC dads buy it for different reasons. It answers all four.
“Every toy loses to the tablet by Tuesday.”
Toys die because they never change. This one changes every time he folds a new sheet: a new hull is a new boat, so the novelty doesn't run out on day three.
“Whatever I buy gets played with twice.”
Most gifts are finished the day they're opened. A kit built on paper keeps becoming a new toy, and a soggy hull isn't the end of it. He just folds another.
“Cheap RC boats die the first time they tip.”
Every RC boat he's had broke because the expensive part was the part that went under. Here the paper takes the water; the module, props and remote are the parts you keep.
“Bath time is a fight every night.”
A boat he folded, steering it around the tub with a real remote, is the easiest bath you'll run all week. One module, a stack of paper, and a kid who asks to get in.
THE WHOLE CASE
Four reasons, and that's the lot
One module, one remote, and whatever paper is already in your printer.
Everything in the box
HOW IT WORKS
Fold. Clip. Sail.
Every RC boat puts the expensive part where the water gets in. PaperBoat makes the hull the part you throw away.

Step 1 — Fold the hull
Any A4 or letter sheet. Fold the classic boat, a wide barge, or a shape he invents. The hull is the part meant to get wet, and it costs one sheet of paper.
Step 2 — Clip in the power module
The lightweight module with its twin propeller drives sets into the stern and tapes to the fold. Keep the spare prop in the bag for later.
Step 3 — Sail it on real sticks
Left stick is power, right stick is steering. Tip it, lift the module out, fold a fresh hull in about a minute, and go again.
YOUR FIRST AFTERNOON
From box to bathtub
What setting it up looks like, start to finish.
Charge it
Charge the battery before the first sail. Fold your first hull while you wait.
Fold and clip
Fold a boat from one of the four sheets and set the power module into the stern following the fold guide.
First sail
Start in the bathtub or a kiddie pool with gentle power. The first few runs are for getting a feel for the sticks.
Tip, refold, repeat
When it tips, and it will, lift the module out, fold a fresh sheet, and he is back on the water in a minute.

ANY LAST QUESTIONS?
The things people ask before they order
What paper do I need?
Four sheets come in the box. After that, any standard A4 or letter sheet works — plain printer paper is the sweet spot. The Waterproof Sheets pack stays stiff the longest if you want all-afternoon sails.
Does it need a phone or an app?
No. It comes with its own two-stick 2.4GHz remote: left stick for power, right stick for steering. Nothing to download, nothing to pair, nothing to update.
Does it really move, or just float?
It moves. Twin propellers at the stern push it, and the two sticks steer it where you point. Push the left stick and it goes; the right stick turns it.
What happens if it tips over?
The hull gets soggy, and that is the end of that hull. Lift the module out, dry it off, fold a fresh sheet, clip it back in. About a minute, and he is sailing again.
Where can we sail it?
Bathtub, kiddie pool, backyard pool, a calm pond. Still water is best — wind and waves will beat paper every time, so save the lake for a quiet morning.
What if it breaks, or we don't love it?
Sail it for thirty days. If it isn't the toy that gets him off the tablet and into the bathtub, or you're unhappy with it for any reason, message us through the Contact page within 30 days of delivery and we'll walk you through a return and a full refund.
